So, I think the pictures just about sum up our weekend but let me explain...
First, a TORNADO blew through Atlanta late Friday night \but we slept through it so of course I don't have any pictures and yes we are safe because our house is like a rock :) Saturday night we hung out with Evan & Leslie(Bummed i didn't get a picture of her Irish outfit!). They made Cabbage & Stew and it was FAB! They even made soda bread, bravo to them!
On Sunday we went for a great little hike along sweet water creek with the Loeffen family and it was a great time as always. (See snake picture eeww!) Then our silly ambition/motivation kicked in we continued the backyard make-over(no longer a massacre). We have enclosed the bottom of our porch to use as storage for lawn devices such as wheelbarrows and lawn mowers. Jeff built the masterpiece and I stained it. You may be asking what is the black stuff on the bottom? It's tar (thanks Mr. Tudini!) to help prevent rot and other bad things. We will be creating a bed around the porch with some plants so it will mostly be hidden.
On to the random two bottom pictures. First the picture of the chair's arm that you've heard me rant about. These are both the WRONG arm, we are still waiting for the correct arm to show up and hopefully before the weekend and our housewarming party on Saturday! Next is my speedometer, in the picture it says 40 mph, but this picture was taken at a red light. My car is HOT MESS! GRRRR. Love and Miss you all!

Thanks for the pics of the kids!! Renee needs to add 2 hours to her day so she can blog more:-) Looks like you had a lot of fun and glad you are ok from the bad weather!!!
