Random Tid-Bits

Nothing major to report this week other than Buddy & Bentley are sleeping on the floor now! (huge accomplishment for us) Also, we are starting the backyard massacre this weekend which will include a chainsaw and hopefully some outdoor furtinure for the deck! We are planning our housewarming party for Saturday, March 22nd so if you want to ESCAPE from the frigid Buffalo blizzard please visit us that weekend to party! I dont have any special photos this week(because we cant find the camera charger! grr) But I do have a photo from the cousin union last weekend, enjoy. Love and Miss you all!

100% Sweetness

Two new pictures of Keller & Maryn, and aren't they just the sweetest lil babes you've ever seen!? The Loeffens are in Buffalo and I miss them already. I guess I am a pretty pathetic Auntie! I am off to Jekyll Island (http://www.jekyllclub.com/) for our GAIE conference and get some time away from the big city. Jeff will be holdig down the fort with Maya, Lola, Buddy & Bentley to keep him company, sounds like a ball huh?!?! Love and miss you all!

Oh My Goodness!!

My Valentines Adventure

What's a Valentines without Two dates and a little Jazz music? I think Jeff and I have started a trend for V day because last year Jeff took me to see the Temptations(Mr. Tudini was playing with them at UB) and this year we saw David Brubeck and Bobby play at UGA in Athens, GA. We had such a great time and the show was absolutely amazing! Thanks again Bobby for inviting us and for our GREAT seats on stage!!!! Here are a few pictures from the night.

On another note, In the morning while getting ready Bentley gets all curled up on my bed and looks soooo cute, when I put my shoes and coat on I usually start talking to the dogs "preparing" them for their day in the crate...during my speech about how much i love them and what a great day they are going to have Bentley does this move(roll over..."your not putting me ANYWHERE mom!!"). This is always his last ditch effort to stay out of the crate, well today he won. I decided it was a beautiful day with blue skies and heck lets try keeping them outside together. I gave them eat a HUGE rawhide bone that should occupy Buddy until mid afternoon and Bentley until about 10 a.m. Hopefully everything will be fine and I can report more outside days to come! Kitchen Update

It's hard to tell but the color is a very gray blue and everyday it looks a little different to me! We can now start looking for ways to deck the kitchen out, we wanted to get a mirror for the big wall and we have some other ideas for the room as well. Now if we could just get rid of the pink countertops! haha Enjoy!

We might be spending Valentines day in Athens, GA this year! David Brubeck & Bobby will be playing at UGA tomorrow night and Bobby has invited us to the show! If we end up going it will be a VERY late night but im sure it will be worth it! All for now, Love & miss you all!

Up & Downs

As most of you have already heard, we had a sewage back-up in our house this weekend. NOT COOL! The weekend started out great, we went to Sweet Water Brewery for a tour on friday after work to meet up with Jeff's work friends and had a nice dinner out, Saturday we were VERY busy but we had enough time for both Home Depot AND Bed, Bath & Beyond!! (haha) We got some plants and paint for the kitchen(yay!!).

We returned home to poop in our basement, yes, thats right people, it was disgusting!! We rented a useless machine from the Depot and busted our butts for 4 hours trying to clear the "clog" which ended up being a ROOT, Jeff ended up busting his finger up and losing a finger nail(ouchie!)!!! Unfortunately Cobb County sewer authority didn't have a 24hr emergency line so we were stuck without toilet/showers for the entire weekend (eeeeek!!!).

But, we did get our kitchen painted and the chair rail up and it all looks GREAT!! I also babysat sweet Maryn & Keller on Sunday and of course the one time she crashes her ATV Im watching her! We were able to make some use of the frozen blueberries that renee has had in her freezer since she moved in(2.5 years ago). After the pipe was cleared we were able to laugh about it but I never want to see poop coming out of my washing machine AGAIN!!! Also this morning my cousin had her baby, Congratulations to Michelle & Mark on their new little baby boy, Jack!

week wrap-up

I let Maryn take the superbowl pictures and as you can imagine they are of the floor, dogs butts and the dishwasher, but a few came out pretty good so i'll post those! On Wednesday night I went over to Renee & Geert's for a Thai party, my sister is an amazing cook and she prepared a whole Thai dinner for us! Jeff is away this week so it was nice to hang out and see the kiddos.

On Tuesday night Buddy had a seizure and stayed at the vets all day so they could keep an eye on him for me. Im not sure what this will mean for him in the future but hopefully it's not very serious, he's only 2! I also got ambitious last night and gave Bentley a bath(what was i thinking!?) All and all he was very good & scared but is shiny clean!

We have GREAT seats to the Sabres game tonight against the Thrashesr in good ole Philips Arena, Im super excited and Im ready with my jersey and my GAME face!!!
