Anxiety!

This weekend was filled with anxiety but we are rockin' & rollin' on the house. So far we have kitchen table/chairs, a couch, spare bed, coffee table, end tables, a whole bedroom set including tall dresser, long dresser, mirror, queen bed, and two night stands! The next major purchase will be a TV(Jeff wants a flat screen plasma), area rugs for bedroom and living room as well the refinished wood floors which are being done this weekend! This weekend we also made picked out paint(talk about stressful) More to come when I can show pictures, but the bathroom is going to be teepee brown(to accent the green tiles). Spare bedroom will be a light/sage-ish green, and the master bedroom is harvest brown. All sounds exciting but lets wait to see it on the walls!

This weekend wasn't all anxiety on friday night we busted out a MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) that Jeff got from work. We were all puzzled and curious as to how this worked and boy did we find out fast! I have pictures and will post them tonight. We made the Beff Enchilada, Geert, Renee and Jeff really liked it and but I stayed back. We also went out for a nice dinner afterwards to relax and celebrate friday!

Yes, my Jeffrey is growing up so fast, he is 25 today! last night we celebrated Jeff's Birthday with a fabulous Italian dinner, with sauce, meatballs,homemade brushetta, caprese salad, vino, the works! We sang Happy Birthday and ate chocolate cake!

This week should be pretty quiet, Jeff is in town tonight which will be a change (a welcomed change!) We are closing on Friday at 11am (WHOHOOOOOO!!!) Then Jeff's parents arrive friday evening and we are excited to spend some time with them and show them our new house of course!! I think that's all for now...pictures to come later tonight!
